Volunteer Meeting!

Fellow Patriots,

Many of you have expressed interest in being more involved.  Here is the beginning step!  We are holding a volunteer meeting on Friday, May 22nd from 5:00-8:30pm.  We will hold a session every half hour in order to give as many who wish to participate the opportunity.  With volunteers located in both KS and MO, choosing a location was difficult.  So, a library right off of a major highway was chosen with the hopes that it would be an easy location to access.  Please RSVP to the website for which session you will attend:  www.kansascityteaparty.wordpress.com   We will have a poll similar to the tax day tea party poll.  If you aren't able to RSVP, we would love to still have you come.  We will be talking about upcoming events, volunteer opportunites, your skills and areas of expertise, and your interests!

   Volunteer Meeting:
   Oak Park Library
9500 Bluejacket (Right west of 69 HWY-95th Street exit)
   Overland Park, KS
Meeting room in the children's section
   May 22, 5:00-8:30pm

See you there!

Thanks,
Amanda and Bob

Fwd: TEAPARTY NEWS-update

Hi everybody!
Well, the  next tea party event is planned for the 4th of July....
          The majority of the folks who responded to my last email were supportive of attending the Tea Party in Austin - to increase the size/impact of the event.  I believe it's planned for 2-4 pm at the Capitol building, with a fundraiser BBQ to follow, then fireworks will be at the lake that evening;

We do want to have a local option for folks that can't go to Austin  - so we are working on having a local event as well.

I want to thank everyone who helped make the first Tea Party such a great turnout;  I'd also like to introduce the new Tyler area Tea Party organizer, Darryl Roberts.  I want to thank Darryl for graciously offering to step in and take over from here...it looks like I likely will be going overseas for work very soon and I needed to pass on the role to a new volunteer.  In order to ensure no one has their email address forwarded against their will, I am just going to list Darryl's email and ask that everyone contact Darryl directly and ask to be added to his contact list and offer any assistance you can contribute to the cause (so I am not speaking for/or volunteering anybody!)
Email for "darryl roberts" <drobert61@yahoo.com>,

BIG PLANS ACROSS THE NATION .... SEPTEMBER 12TH MARCH ON WASHINGTON DC!
I would love it if we could have some folks from our area join 'em!  We have one volunteer checking in to possibly chartering a bus to go to Washington DC.  More information to come...

Please forward questions on tea party plans to the new chief...

Stay strong Patriots!

Montana Governor Signs New Gun Law - WILD

Executive Summary - The USA state of Montana has signed into power a revolutionary gun law. I mean REVOLUTIONARY. The State of Montana has defied the federal government and their gun laws. This will prompt a showdown between the federal government and the State of Montana . The federal government fears citizens owning guns. They try to curtail what types of guns they can own. The gun control laws all have one common goal - confiscation of privately owned firearms.
Montana has gone beyond drawing a line in the sand. They have challenged the Federal Government. The fed now either takes them on and risks them saying the federal agents have no right to violate their state gun laws and arrest the federal agents that try to enforce the federal firearms acts. This will be a world-class event to watch. Montana could go to voting for secession from the union, which is really throwing the gauntlet in Obama's face. If the federal government does nothing they lose face. Gotta love it.

Important Points - If guns and ammunition are manufactured inside the State of Montana for sale and use inside that state then the federal firearms laws have no applicability since the federal government only has the power to control commerce across state lines. Montana has the law on their side. Since when did the USA start following their own laws especially the constitution of the USA , the very document that empowers the USA .

Silencers made in Montana and sol in Montana would be fully legal and not registered. As a note silencers were first used before the 007 movies as a device to enable one to hunt without disturbing neighbors and scaring game. They were also useful as devices to control noise when practicing so as to not disturb the neighbors.

Silencers work best with a bolt-action rifle. There is a long barrel and the chamber is closed tight so as to direct all the gases though the silencer at the tip of the barrel. Semi-auto pistols and revolvers do not really muffle the sound very well except on the silver screen. The revolvers bleed gas out with the sound all over the place. The semi-auto pistols bleed the gases out when the slide recoils back.
Silencers are maybe nice for snipers picking off enemy soldiers even though they reduce velocity but not very practical for hit men shooting pistols in crowded places. Silencers were useful tools for gun enthusiasts and hunters.
There would be no firearm registration, serial numbers, criminal records check, waiting periods or paperwork required. So in a short period of time there would be millions and millions of unregistered untraceable guns in Montana . Way to go Montana !

Discussion - Let us see what Obama does. If he hits Montana hard they will probably vote to secede from the USA . The governor of Texas has already been refusing Federal money because he does not want to agree to the conditions that go with it and he has been saying secession is a right they have as sort of a threat.. Things are no longer the same with the USA . Do not be deceived by Obama acting as if all is the same, it is not.

Text of the New Law HOUSE BILL NO. 246

INTRODUCED BY J. BONIEK, BENNETT, BUTCHER, CURTISS, RANDALL, WARBURTON
AN ACT EXEMPTING FROM FEDERAL REGULATION UNDER THE COMMERCE CLAUSE OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES A FIREARM, A FIREARM ACCESSORY, OR AMMUNITION MANUFACTURED AND RETAINED IN MONTANA ; AND PROVIDING AN APPLICABILITY DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA :

Section 1. Short title. [Sections 1 through 6] may be cited as the "Montana Firearms Freedom Act".

Section 2. Legislative declarations of authority. The legislature declares that the authority for [sections 1 through 6] is the following:

(1) The 10th amendment to the United States constitution guarantees to the states and their people all powers not granted to the federal government elsewhere in the constitution and reserves to the state and people of Montana certain powers as they were understood at the time that Montana was admitted to statehood in 1889. The guaranty of those powers is a matter of contract between the state and people of Montana and the United States as of the time that the compact with the United States was agreed upon and adopted by Montana and the United States in 1889.

(2) The ninth amendment to the United States constitution guarantees to the people rights not granted in the constitution and reserves to the people of Montana certain rights, as they were understood at the time that Montana was admitted to statehood in 1889. The guaranty of those rights is a matter of contract between the state and people of Montana and the United States as of the time that the compact with the United States was agreed upon and adopted by Montana and the United States in 1889.

(3) The regulation of intrastate commerce is vested in the states under the 9th and 10th amendments to the United States constitution, particularly if not expressly preempted by federal law. Congress has not expressly preempted state regulation of intrastate commerce pertaining to the manufacture on an intrastate basis of firearms, firearms accessories, and ammunition.

(4) The second amendment to the United States constitution reserves to the people the right to keep and bear arms as that right was understood at the time that Montana was admitted to statehood in 1889, and the guaranty of the right is a matter of contract between the state and people of Montana and the United States as of the time that the compact with the United States was agreed upon and adopted by Montana and the United States in 1889.

(5) Article II, section 12, of the Montana constitution clearly secures to Montana citizens, and prohibits government interference with, the right of individual Montana citizens to keep and bear arms. This constitutional protection is unchanged from the 1889 Montana constitution, which was approved by congress and the people of Montana , and the right exists, as it was understood at the time that the compact with the United States was agreed upon and adopted by Montana and the United States in 1889.

Section 3. Definitions. As used in [sections 1 through 6], the following definitions apply:

(1) "Borders of Montana " means the boundaries of Montana described in Article I, section 1, of the 1889 Montana constitution.
(2) "Firearms accessories" means items that are used in conjunction with or mounted upon a firearm but are not essential to the basic function of a firearm, including but not limited to telescopic or laser sights, magazines, flash or sound suppressors, folding or aftermarket stocks and grips, speedloaders, ammunition carriers, and lights for target illumination.
(3) "Generic and insignificant parts" includes but is not limited to springs, screws, nuts, and pins.
(4) "Manufactured" means that a firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition has been created from basic materials for functional usefulness, including but not limited to forging, casting, machining, or other processes for working materials.

Section 4. Prohibitions. A personal firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is manufactured commercially or privately in Montana and that remains within the borders of Montana is not subject to federal law or federal regulation, including registration, under the authority of congress to regulate interstate commerce. It is declared by the legislature that those items have not traveled in interstate commerce. This section applies to a firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is manufactured in Montana from basic materials and that can be manufactured without the inclusion of any significant parts imported from another state. Generic and insignificant parts that have other manufacturing or consumer product applications are not firearms, firearms accessories, or ammunition, and their importation into Montana and incorporation into a firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition manufactured in Montana does not subject the firearm, firearm accessory, or ammunition to federal regulation. It is declared by the legislature that basic materials, such as unmachined steel and unshaped wood, are not firearms, firearms accessories, or ammunition and are not subject to congressional authority to regulate firearms, firearms accessories, and ammunition under interstate commerce as if they were actually firearms, firearms accessories, or ammunition. The authority of congress to regulate interstate commerce in basic materials does not include authority to regulate firearms, firearms accessories, and ammunition made in Montana from those materials. Firearms accessories that are imported into Montana from another state and that are subject to federal regulation as being in interstate commerce do not subject a firearm to federal regulation under interstate commerce because they are attached to or used in conjunction with a firearm in Montana ...

Section 5. Exceptions. [Section 4] does not apply to:

(1) A firearm that cannot be carried and used by one person;
(2) A firearm that has a bore diameter greater than 1 1/2 inches and that uses smokeless powder, not black powder, as a propellant;
(3) ammunition with a projectile that explodes using an explosion of chemical energy after the projectile leaves the firearm; or
(4) a firearm that discharges two or more projectiles with one activation of the trigger or other firing device.
Section 6. Marketing of firearms. A firearm manufactured or sold in Montana under [sections 1 through 6] must have the words "Made in Montana " clearly stamped on a central metallic part, such as the receiver or frame.
Section 7. Codification instruction. [Sections 1 through 6] are intended to be codified as an integral part of Title 30, and the provisions of Title 30 apply to [sections 1 through 6].
Section 8. Applicability. [This act] applies to firearms, firearms accessories, and ammunition that are manufactured, as defined in [section 3], and retained in Montana after October 1, 2009.

Goose Stepping Anti-Fox Fascists

I can't help but feel that an overt bias against a particular source of news is an effort to get people not to look at it. It's like the good old boy lawyer who says "Don't go paying no attention to any of that there evidence that boy is trying to show you, he's just the town idiot." Well, I don't think I'm alone in thinking that the evidence or news that the powers that be do not want me to look at are exactly the sources which need to be considered. Goose stepping to the party line has never been for me.

Everything is available for anyone who chooses to look. For those who without medication are pathologically averse to anything reported by Fox News, you can generally get the same information from the Congressional Record or a multitude of other sources. The only problem is that it will generally not be fed to you on a spoon with your morning cup of talking points from the mainstream media.

It does seem very odd that if something is reported by Fox News there seems to be some segment of the population who immediately will put their hands over their ears, close their eyes, and start going LA LA LA LA LA - I can't hear you - LA LA LA LA LA... It's actually very bazaar behavior from people who otherwise would claim to want as much information as possible in order to draw some conclusion to what the truth may be.

Just in case you didn't figure it out yet... The bought and paid for corporate mainstream media are nothing more than a lobbying group for the New World Order. The only difference is that the mainstream media lobbies the public while other lobbyists lobby Congress - and any alternative media that does not subscribe to the Fascist talking points, or person who dares to present other information or a different opinion, will be attacked.

The funny thing is that the majority of people who do most of the attacking invariably fancy themselves as "Free Thinkers" when in fact they take their marching orders from the media elite as if they were uneducated hypnotized zombies.

I'm sorry if it comes as a shock to some of you, it should come more as an embarrassment, like waking up in a field with none of your clothes. But goose stepping in line with the mainstream media and parroting the talking points of the party in power hardly makes you any type of a rebel. If you were a German in 1939 you would be wearing a brown shirt and saluting the Fuhrer. You are completely owned, operated, and spoon fed your beliefs, all while being told you are a free thinker.

The truth really is that "Politically Incorrect" is the most politically correct show on television and the ultimate irony for the little prince's and princess's
who wake up one day to find they have no clothes, just like the king, is that the network they have been bashing so long, Fox News, is the actual politically incorrect source... Pssss - Here's a secret way to figure this out... If the President, both houses of Congress, and 98% of all media say one thing, and Fox News points out something different that the others don't want you to know about, but nevertheless proves to be true, guess who the alternative media is.

Believe it or not Fox News is the actual counterpoint and you're nothing but a goose stepping clone spitting the party line. Coasting through life with blinders on thinking that you can see, waiting for your feed bag every morning from the mainstream powers that be, and if you're a good little clone regurgitating what you've been told by MSNBC maybe a pat on the head from the master - or to quote a line from the movie "Babe"... That'll do Pig, That'll do.

ACT TODAY - DO NOT WAIT!

Urgent Alert! Act today to stop back-door government health care takeover!

You may have already seen the media reports that the budget is a done deal, and health care reconciliation is included. They are wrong.  It is not yet a done deal, and we need you to ACT TODAY to stop it.  Democratic leadership has agreed, but the actual conference report is not written by leadership, but by the specific conferees on the conference committee:

    Senate
    Kent Conrad (D-N. Dak.)
    Patty Murray (D-Wash.)
    Judd Gregg (R-N.H.)

    House
    John Spratt (D-S.C.)
    Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.)
    Allen Boyd (D-Fla.)
    Paul Ryan (R-Wis.)
    Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas)

If your senator or representative is on the committee, it is imperative that you send them a message today urging them to keep health care out of reconciliation.  They are meeting THIS AFTERNOON, so time is of the essence.  By far the most important two are Kent Conrad and Allen Boyd, Democrats who have been skeptical about using reconciliation.

If you know anyone in North Dakota or Florida's second district (Tallahassee, Panama City) please forward them this urgent email immediately!

Reconciliation is a trick, a procedure designed for deficit reduction being misused to jam through a government takeover of health care with only 20 hours of debate, no amendments, and just 50 votes instead of the usual 60.  This trick will silence Republicans and centrist Democrats, and allow a radical leftist plan in which government takes away control of health care from patients and doctors, and rations care by denying it to people judged by bureaucrats to be too old or too sick to justify the cost.  For more explanation, listen to my podcast on this: http://kerpen.hipcast.com/rss/kerpencast.xml

    tea party update

Hi to all you Texas Patriots!

Looks like we hit a nerve with the far left and corrupt, self-serving politicians on both sides of the aisle!  They are worried we will be watching and hold them accountable---give them a reason to worry.  Let them know we are watching and we will organize to vote them out of office for irresponsible behavior!

We are in the process of evaluating what went well and what we want to do better in the future for further events...I thank all y'all who helped and have offered help as we go forward.  Also, I am so proud of the group we had and how we collectively presented ourselves and how well we conducted ourselves during and after the rally!

What's next?  Log onto WeThePeopleFreedom.com or talk to the founder and leader of this group, George Stephenson for information on the rally they have planned in May - not part of the "tea party" organization per se, but with comparable goals and the promotion of actions designed toward the same end-a return back to a nation intended by our forefathers!

Most of the talk for the next big round of tea parties seems to be focusing on a collaborative effort on the 4th of July- with a suggestion to focus on the Constitution's emphasis on states' sovereignty -- a strategy  which I think will be truly critical in tearing the out-of-control power of our Congress out of their clutches...to return us back to a limited federal government that was designed by our founders.

The 4th of July would be nice because it falls on the weekend.  We have some options...
#1)  Some would like to see a jaw-dropping, massive turn-out in Washington DC either on the 4th of July (or on Sept
                          12th).

#2)  Others are pushing for consolidating the efforts of all the cities in a state to the state capitol to make a bigger
impact (larger numbers in one spot)

#3/#4)The other two options would be to repeat a tea party locally - in the Tyler area; or to join up with Dallas or
                           Houston...

I WOULD LIKE YOUR INPUT ON THIS SO WE CAN GET THE BALL ROLLING EITHER WAY...

    IMPORTANT..... PLEASE ACT  TOMORROW ------
YOU CAN MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE !!!!

Banks, GM, etc have found out what happens when they become obligated to the federal govt by accepting "stimulus" funds/ bailouts, etc---now they're so entangled with "king george" it's hard for them to get out!  Our governor is standing up for Texas, declining stimulus funds that have BIG strings attached.  Accepting these funds  would  require  expansion of govt programs relating to unemployment programs, and they require ongoing expenditures after the fed money is gone...leaving the state -- via taxpayers - to pick up the tab!!!

Our Texas Senate has betrayed us and passed Senate Bill 1569 to accept these funds with the strings that come with it!  It passed 22 to 9 with the only dissenters being Republican; however, some Republicans joined with Democrats to pass it--in fact, it was authored by the Republican from TYLER: Senator Kevin Eltife.   HIS PHONE SHOULD BE RINGING OFF THE HOOK!!!!
They think they can do whatever they want and we won't notice, won't care, or won't remember. A condescending aide to Senator Eltife told a concerned citizen that called today, as if he were speaking to a 5 year old child, "It's a dollar and cents thing"...  and after continuing to express concern, he was told  that he was welcome to "come up here and fix things."  That is how unresponsive these people are--they need to know we WILL START FIXING THINGS BY CLEANING HOUSE!
             *** PATRIOT CALL TO ACTION:
     1. GET A SPIRAL NOTEBOOK--- KEEP NOTES ON POLITICIANS, AND YOUR  CORRESPONDENCE WITH POLITICIANS
         AND THEIR REPONSES
     2. Senator Eltife needs to be the first name on your "Pink Slip" page for the Texas Senate
     3. CALL SENATOR ELTIFE and put him on notice - let him know what you think about his selling out the people of Texas
     4. Feel free to call the others who voted for it and let them know we're getting their pink slips ready, too.
     5. CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES IN THE HOUSE.... DEMAND THEY SUPPORT OUR GOVERNOR AND STAND UP
FOR TEXAS - DO NOT ACCEPT THESE FUNDS (reference House Bill 2623)... WE WILL BE WATCHING and VOTING!
     6. Along the same lines, DEMAND PASSAGE OF THE CONCURRENT RESOLUTIONS SUPPORTING FEDERAL
RECOGNITION OF OUR STATE'S SOVEREIGNTY AS SET FORTH IN THE CONSTITUTION (10th Amndt.).

    Please Wake Up

As we have always said, this is not a left or right thing. We believe that there really is only one party in Washington - and we're not invited. All of the people of the world who love their country need to please stand up, for the love of the world and for the love of each other. Nationalism does not mean that you hate other people, Nationalism means that you love your country and wish to reveal it, welcoming strangers, and being excited by the differences. World government extinguishes the beauty of difference just as mixing all colors of paint would leave nothing of the prior brilliance of each individually - but only a dull gray.

    Democrat vs democratic

There are two major political parties in the United States, the Democrats, and the Republicans - both parties are democratic. In our modern age of Orwellian wordplay you will often see the Democrat party referred to as the democratic party, you should respond to this with "Which democratic party." It may seem like nitpicking but in an Orwellian sense it is very important to not allow the usurping of important words. Imagine if you will a person who natively speaks a language other than English. If that person believes that America is a democracy, AND they like the idea of America being a democracy so much that they wish to immigrate to America, AND when they get here you ask them which political party they would like to be a part of - they will naturally want to choose a party that they feel is the democracy party. This is where Orwellian wordplay comes in. The unknowing immigrant will not understand that both parties are democratically elected, they will simply hear from unknowing or deliberately manipulative people that one party is republican and the other party is democratic - get it?

Obviously the United States is a republic and has never been a democracy but we have to keep it simple so as not to confuse the point. Therefore whenever you get the chance to correct the Orwellian wordplay of those who would refer to the Democrat Party as the democratic party - make sure to ask them which democratic party they are referring to.

Fountains of America Turned to Tea

I have become aware of rumors that some people are using giant cans of generic instant ice tea to turn the fountains of America into tea fountains. I personally think this is very funny provided there are no fish in any of the fountains.

I would have to advise against people going to dollar stores and buying giant canisters of instant ice tea and dumping them into the fountains of the nation in the middle of the night, however, if somebody does feel they need to do this, please note that I said you shouldn't, and please avoid any fish.

    Phase Two... The Next Step

Let me begin by congratulating everyone for the extreme success of all tea parties. The estimates have been between 260,000 and 300,000 participants.

Now I have heard foolish people say that the original American revolution was solely about taxation without representation and therefore there could not be a second revolution because we are represented. In fact there were a multitude of issues that caused the original American revolution - The primary purpose being to ensure the blessings of liberty to the founders and to their posterity.

The issue of representation is equally obvious. If approximately eighty percent of the citizens tell their representatives NOT to pass any bailouts, and the representatives ignore the directives of the people and pass the bailouts anyway, THEN the people HAVE NOT been represented.

Which brings us to phase two...

In the past like minded citizens have sought to politically support candidates who held the most similar views to themselves at best, or the lessor of two evils at worst. The lessor of two evils has become much more common.

In their own interest dominant political parties have used their power whenever possible to stack the deck against anyone who might try to challenge their position or candidate by making the act of challenging a dominant candidate as difficult as possible. Third party contestants are easily dismissed.

There can be only one solution to all of the problems mentioned above, and that is to run our own candidates for every political office available.

As we have always stated this is not about left or right, straight or gay, Republican or Democrat. This new American Revolution will not be fought with violence but with peaceful protest, a common goal of legitimate representation of the people by the people, with the ballot box as the final judge of our success.

If we are in an area dominated by the Democrat party, our candidate will run as Democrat. If we are in an area dominated by the Republican party, our candidate will run as a Republican. We will make good use of the unbalanced playing field created by the dominant party wherever it may be and use that to our advantage.

The next objective that we must all have is to identify every political race that is not to late to enter, and every race coming up. If primaries are past, write in candidates will be used. Get the election rules and candidates guidebooks from every state. Identify who the dominant party is for every district we will run in because that will be the seat we will win. Ask for volunteers to run for office and most importantly - let your people know - this tea party has only just begun.

We can not lay down and allow our children to be sold into economic slavery by an unresponsive government.

    Everybody is Welcome

One more time... Teabagging is for everyone - it's not a left right conflict - anyone who doesn't want a master picking their pocket is welcome. It doesn't matter if you're Republican or Democrat or anything else, we want you to join us and protest this insane spending governmental rape. You're not going to get some special magical red or blue soothing bung hole ointment because you voted this way or that - everybody here is getting fucked... Think about it, some of the greatest protests being planned are in the state of KY... get it!

Many people who for some reason feel that we should all be divided into categories - black, white, right, left, rich, poor, etc. are just not getting the point, hopefully they will eventually realize we are trying to help them too.

Some people ask why there wasn't all this activity when Bush was in office, well you need to think of it like this... It takes a little while for a pot of water to start boiling. We all wrote and screamed when the first bailout happened, we all tried to stop it, but the people in Washington, the Democrat Congress, and the Republican President ignored the people and pretty much told us all to go fuck ourselves and passed it anyway... The water got hotter.

Then with each succeeding bailout the same thing happened, we all told them NO, and they all told us to go fuck ourselves again and passed them anyway... By then we were at full boil.

Then the President and Congress start slamming through spending and debt in the trillions, literally putting several future generations into economic slavery... Now the water is boiling over and people across the country of all colors and politics are screaming mad about it.

That's what it's all about. Any political party who did this would have the exact same reaction, it's not about left or right, it's about a government doing what the people who give them their power tell them to do. Because unfortunately right now, that's not happening.

    What are guns really for?

In April 1775 the caretaker of Olde North Church in Boston, Robert Newman, at about 10pm, lit two lanterns and placed them in the belfry. It was a signal that the government's army had mustered in the night and were headed to the colonists weapons depot in Concord to confiscate their weapons. Another concerned citizen named Paul Revere had been waiting for the signal and thus rode his horse to Lexington in order to warn John Hancock and Samuel Adams who, with outstanding warrant, were hiding from the government. The resistance that followed, resulting from the governments desire to disarm the people, became know as the "Shot heard round the world."

Prior to this, throughout history, the only legal way for a person to keep and bear arms was for a person to be authorized by the government. The license required to do so was known as a "Coat of Arms" and was only given to members of the nobility. If a common man or woman possessed arms without the required license they would immediately have been put to death.

Because we have taken this right for granted we have forgotten where the idea came from. The founding fathers of the United States believed that in order for a free people to remain free they would need to have the same level of armament as those who wished to take their liberty away. The result of this was that the founding fathers made sure that the right to keep and bear arms was absolutely stated as a right of the people of the United States, without regard to a coat of arms as a privilege of a nobility.

The right to bear arms is not about need, it is not about hunting, it is not about shooting the crack head that breaks into your house, and it is not about sportsmanship... The right to bear arms is completely about the people's right to defend themselves against a tyrannical government who may wish to take their freedom away from them.
